  1. Regardless he pinned the champion in the middle of the ring

  2. Guys I think Solo stinks too but I understand why they are doing what they are doing lol

Drew defending everything WWE. I wasn’t even comparing but FD shit all over this show and had a satisfying ending. At this rate we get Roman coming back at the end up Summerslam and wrestling Solo at Survivor Series? Like I’m all for story, but come the fuck on with this taking forever.

I get the finish but they shot it in a way where you could see Solo didn’t do anything impactful. He is usually good at delivering the spike so it looks like it hurts but he just slapped Cody in the chest.

  7. I’d like them to do a bloodline vs bloodline at survivor series but it seems like they’re setting up
Roman coming back and being by himself for a bit. You can’t just throw Jimmy/Jey back with him right away imo

  8. Yeah FD was absolutely the better wrestling show and AEW generally has way better wrestling week and week out but it lacks in the story

MITB is a b-level at best PPV and this was probably a B-/C+ show

  9. Thankfully there are 3 months between SummerSlam and Survivor Series

it’ll be more interesting to see who the 4th member of Roman’s team is

That’s exactly what I expected out of that main event

  11. Also wouldn’t be surprised if Hunter mothballs this PPV/gimmick for next year

Tonga Loa always looks like he’s walking on the moon when he has to do something other than just stand around menacingly.

  14. Mania isn’t Cena’s last match. Hes doing 30-40 dates next year. Will be done by the end of 2025.

I think they put a title on him one last time to break the record.

Yeah I’d be shocked if Cena’s last match wasn’t in Boston.

Wouldn't surprise me if they ran Punk/Cena in Chicago again

Just saw the results; an absolutely hilarious result that finally kind of puts the nail in the coffin of the mens MITB concept. Its failed to elevate anyone in nearly a decade, and its actively buried a few guys. Corbin, Strowman, Otis, and Theory were all actively hurt by it and their cash-in failures, Brock wasnt even in the match, and Priest/E basically stayed where they were in stature but at least won belts with it.

Womens MITB on the other hand seems to be doing well. Nikki's basically the only one that didnt elevate after winning

Also, that Chelsea Green table spot to finish the womens MITB is one of the most aesthetically pleasing table breaks I've ever seen. Looks like she landed on pillows while splitting those tables perfectly.

Just keep KOTR/QOTR annually and make MITB like every 3-4 years

thought this was one of the weaker ppv's of the year by quite a bit. Drew winning, cashing in to do a 3-way, the botch, and ANOTHER CM punk screwjob....i'm sorry, that was fucking awful and a waste. I read most of y'alls comments and i couldn't agree more, this was a waste of a ppv match....get this mid-card belt off Priest, he sucks....and the Drew/Punk/Rollins feud didn't need this gas. It's just more of the same.

The main event was like a classic In Your House July 1994 main event. Lame triple threat, not a great match at all, and a very flat ending. Bloodline Part 2 is a good angle but Cody needs something fresh and shouldn't be involved in anything they're doing anymore (you have a fucking brand split, a draft, and an easy way out for this too).

Women's division is in a weird spot right now. Stratton was the only person that had any shot at winning. Chelsea's a good comedy wrestler.

Cody vs Bronn was a solid IC match though. Probably the only match i liked.

Money in the bank, another gimmick that's completely ruined by the brand split/TWO world titles (for both men and women). Imagine if this was for a chance to actually cash in against Cody in a legit big spot. Or a chance to cash in against Rhea in a legit big spot.

I dont know what i despise more.... Playoff expansion in pro sports or having TWO main titles in the wrestling? That's a tough one.

    Just a friendly reminder

Danielson vs Hangman is the second best thing I get to experience this summer (a strong second to getting married).

The more I think about if Priest doesn’t fuck up the sequence I don’t think it’s as bad
