With Deeb instead of Hayter, which is odd...guessing Toni retains and Hayter costs Britt (or lays her out after)

I mean, they had to do a hard rest of most of their PPV card, multiple times, in the last couple of weeks. Last week felt better because it was all the shifting...this week is the "cram the build in before".

 

Am I the only one who finds Sterling to be a negative as a manager? Feels having him as a manager sends the message "I'm a goober who can't get anyone better than "Smart" mark Sterling to manage me". Basically the opposite of being a Paul Heyman guy

If he actually generated heat that would be fine. But instead he just generates yawns

 

Losing Jade and then the 20-jobber squash vs Wardlow hurt him quite a bit. But, I think he still generates the right kind of heat...sort of like QT Marshall...for the guys he's managing. They're there to boost a lower card guy to the mid-card, and demolishing Smart Mark gets that pop

it's what i want, but mox vs. mjf seems much more obvious

 

unless they started the mox-mjf build early as a headfake, it's probably mox as of now. and that's probably the right move if they're just going to funnel the belt to mjf anyway. mox losing the belt at back-to-back pay per views is kinda weird/funny though.

It doesn't help that most of the tag teams are heels and even the The Lucha Bros are grey area because Pac has been acting more heel-ish lately. Unless you want them to squash the Varsity Blondes. Putting them over in a match against FTR would have been fun only because the Cornette fans would have a total meltdown.
