Super overkill and will only make things worse if the ceo, who is behaving like a mark letting his heroes run roughshod over him, decides to make himself a character lol

If Tony had the ability to cut a promo onscreen without looking like he just shit his pants i would be all for it.

The wrestling world has been sitting around just waiting for someone to break the non-compete clause and challenge it in court. Surely WWE/AEW will get their ass handed to them.

 

Id think that WWE backing him against AEW would help but then again… Tony has a lot of fucking money. Fuck you Jim Crockett

 

MJF saga was the right time to be a character on his show. Tony as a character works there. And with voice mail, looked like maybe they were starting to head more in that direction.

Punk mess just unfortunately gets in the way of that. You can't really have Tony only address MJF and not the straight edge elephant in the room. But the punk stuff isn't the kind of stuff you want character Tony discussing, he needs to address it as himself or not at all.

 

Sucks about Black, but I hope the release is what he needs to improve his physical/mental health.

Hopefully we still see Brody and Murphy.

WWE and AEW would probably counter-sue together. Neither has ANY desire to see that system change in any significant way. No free agent acquisition is worth breaking your business model.

 

I'd kinda rather see Murphy just get to do singles stuff.

Regardless of this drama, you absolutely cannot go for another “Interim” world champ situation if Punk is out again. World title scene needs a complete reset and if Punk makes it back then have him work down the card like he had been prior to him winning the title
