And I get it a bit with the show they had last night, and with their womens #1 contender set and their TBS contender hurt.

But my god, week to week it would be so easy to get them regular airtime (basically drop all the ROH stuff on Dynamite), and they consistently fail. We probably wont see Britt or Hayter til after the PPV, for example

 

There's something deeply funny in my mind to the idea that Punk would go work for HHH

 

When HHH took over one of the things I thought about was how Punk was probably one of the only (relevant) wrestlers who was less likely to come to WWE

 

Genuinely wonder if Ember Moon or Toni Storm are regretting their moves at this point. They seem like the people WWE might have reached out to in that recent rumor

 

Bet HHH wishes Lee and Swerve were free agents lol

 

Of those I think it was Swerve. Really I think it was most likely Claudio/Cesaro. The rumor mentioned that it was someone with an agent. Claudio has one and I'd be very surprised if Swerve didn't. I also think it was a (generally) recent signing and WWE just wanted to know if they were on a per appearance deal, an AEW deal, or something weird because of ROH.

Swerve is also a major possibility because of the rest of Hit Row being brought back

 

I wouldn’t blame anyone in the AEW womens division for jumping ship because AEW has nothing to offer them currently

Deonna Purazzo is a free agent soon, it'll be very interesting to see what she decides

 

Cant imagine she feels great about WWE since its not like HHH used her at all there (especially when the cupboard was bare post-4HW and during the Asuka forever reign). She's certainly got some ties in AEW, but, she's also at least twice pulled out of booked ROH events...

Eh....the actual viewer numbers and demos have basically been the same for two months. Last time anything actually popped out of the ordinary was the post-DoN episode.

Honestly, thing that intrigues me more is that Kennys very obvious return didnt draw some people in

 

Yeah true - I just think they’ll stay stuck in that 950k / .30 range until they move to a different network - I dunno what they could do to ever improve those ratings

 

But as long as they are consistently #1 on Wednesday it won’t matter

 

I suspect the post-All Out episode pops it a little, as does Grand Slam, but yeah, AEW is basically gonna float in the million viewer/0.3ish demo range unless something wild happens.

What they cant have is a consistent drop into the 800s/<0.3 range, cause then they get into NXT range

Right now there is a ton of backstage drama involving many of the top guys that has gotten much worse in recent weeks. There’s a part of me where I just think Tony Khan needs to sit everyone down and air everything out before it gets worse. The big thing that started all this is that Colt Cabana is not in the Dark Order with no angle and stopped being brought to television. He was going to be cut but Khan signed him for ROH. This is really the catalyst of everything although different people have different stories as to why it happened, including Page and Punk. But even if that didn’t happen, it was probably going to happen for something else just given the nature of the different personalities involved. It feels like a number of people are close to their breaking point if things don’t get settled
