I love aew but I can’t stand Tony.

The dudes socially awkward, but has a ton of energy and passion. I highly doubt he uses coke on such a frequent basis that it effects his public image. Getting really tired of people dunking on him for saying weird shit while most people who have worked for Vince are praising a dude that abused women for years and years. People can say what they want about Tony, but he’s given a lot of people an opportunity that wouldn’t have existed without his company. He didn’t fire anyone during the pandemic when he easily could have. As much as the Elite helped form AEW, it wouldn’t exist without Tony’s money and his booking is miles ahead of anything WWE has done with the exception of the women's division.

 

i agree that no millionaire is your friend but this particular millionaire is using his money to make good wrestling happen and helping to foster like… what i can’t help but see as a remarkably healthy and supportive locker room culture, unheard of in this sport. i appreciate it

 

of course there are problems and i side with labor on every labor dispute that's happened (mjf being the big one here) but all anyone decides to focus on is how tony comes off, and imo he comes off as an excitable dude who loves what he's doing. maybe wrestling fans should take a long look in the mirror idk

 

i'm watching rampage. the first time lee moriarty and dante martin wrestled it blew my mind so much i called it "cubist wrestling." this rematch is living up to my hilarious joke

Tony is the guy who let Moxley go right to treatment when he asked and was part of a massive feud at the time. Moxley only asked because he was comfortable enough and thats because of the culture TK has created.

he gives people time off and no pressure, Hangman was having a child and wanted to be home for his wife while he was getting a mega push against Kenny and TK allowed it.

While I resent anyone with too much money, Tony has a good heart and thats hard to say with anyone else that is at his stratosphere of wealth.


Believe me, there is no way he actually does coke, addiction is a progressive fatal disease, dude would be showing a major decline if he was regularly doing coke lol.

He has a ton of responsibility and is able to manage them all. He is on the ball, if cocaine were involved that would nottttttt be the case.

He’s just a socially awkward wrestling geek who grew up on internet boards and all of a sudden has a massive spotlight on him.

His tweets are deff cringe, he is cringe, he is not a ‘cool’ person, but he is doing incredible things for the pro wrestling industry.

If Tony is inflicted with ADD and prescribed stimulants, Adderall or ritalin ( ritalinis really for people under 18) would make him more calm. Thats the effect stimulants have on people with ADD.

Is he abusing those meds and getting them prescribed without a diagnosis? Doubt it.

Tony is awkward as fuck, i know lots of awkward people. The only time we see him are in the most invigorating moments of his life. Adrenaline and excitement is at an all time high and he’s a goofy fuck.

 

yeah if i’m being honest TK strikes me as more of a roman roy and zany/antic from just being a weirdo rich kid than bc of substances like a kendall roy

These two things can happen simultaneously. That Bayley tweet (and whoever else in the company) publicly thanking vince is scummy as fuck to me. And tony's tweets about the vince stuff are dorky as fuck. And people speculating if he has ADHD or is on cocaine or whatever is also real inappropriate in my opinion.
