Going to Dynamite this week and despite still being disappointed I won’t see Punk and probably not Bryan either, I’m holding out hope for Sting bc it is “Atlanta”.

Also while catching up on tv from last week I saw there’s a fucking barbed wire match where Eddie might in fact murder Jericho so that sort of makes up for my above mentioned disappointment lol.

 

Yeah, RAW is coming here in September and I wouldn’t even go if it was free. Half of the show is backstage promos, commercials and video packages. The last WWE show I went to was Takeover Portland which was insane and probably the last show WWE show I’ll ever see. Luckily the NW has DEFY, Prestige as well as several smaller promotions that are a ton of fun. I’m hoping AEW will eventually do more west coast stuff as there’s definitely a huge demand for their shows here.

 

I feel the exact same way.

My first and only WWE event was an NXT House show in 2019. Adam Cole/Riddle headlined it while Cole was champ, Ripley did a tag match, and Pete Dunne was still fucking amazing, and now they've basically ruined Rhea Ripley and Dunne, too.

I haven't watched or paid for a second of WWE programming since Fall 2019. With AEW, GCW, NJPW and even Impact/ROH, I've got everything I need there.

The only people I will forever stan for from the 'E are Becky Lynch and Big E, and I feel like she'll never go to AEW or Stardom at this stage of her career.

 

I hope AEW visits here this fall

 

One of my biggest wrestling regrets is never seeing a NXT live show.

 

I saw NXT live back in 2016 so you can imagine how amazing it was - Bayley Balor Alpha Academy Roode Shinsuke etc

 

Still couldn't imagine going to a wrestling show. Haven't even been to the movies since late 2019. Even being vaxxed 3 times, i just am not there yet. I know it's very arbitrarily selective, cuz i go to restaurants again from time to time. But yeah..crowds still freak me out.

 

Yeah, I’ve been to 4 indie shows post Covid that were all pretty claustrophobic and I definitely didn’t feel super comfortable. At that point masks can only do so much when you’re sweating on top of each other. I actually caught Covid for the first time from the last one in May. I can completely understand not wanting to attend a show like that.

 

Looks like Elgin may have been deported from Japan lol

 

Elgin is a mess and I know that’s a massive understatement lol
