The WSJ article even talks about how he was open adulterous in the late 90s and acknowledged it in an interview with something to the effect of "it wasnt worth the chaos in my marriage"...and then he proceeds to cheat and assault women for the next two decades...

The list for who this may have been is incredibly slim, if WSJ was trying to protect their identity.

Vince dying will be the best thing to happen to WWE. I can't think of a company I want to love more than WWE but they make it impossible. fuck them

And for all people will say it'll be fine once he's gone - so many people have enabled him for decades. It feels impossible to sweep it away and deny their culpability. And that applies to the despicable personal and professional behaviour of his, as well as his creative approach.

    Vince needs to go. Now.

This is not another thing McDevitt can save him from.

“i want to love wwe” is the weirdest fucking sentiment i’ve heard expressed in this thread

I wanted to hate WWE enough to stop watching for a long time and it finally happened about two years ago.

I see Vinnie Mac's millions is now the #1 headline on ESPN. Good. Drag him for this. Rich, powerful men have been buying their way out of problems like this forever, further undermining the severity of their behaviour and making it seem like these accusations are all a play for money, when really it's all you can hope for when there're no real legal ramifications you can expect from the broken system.

I can't wait for 10 years from now when whichever one of Stephanie or Shane's kids who is then a WWE VP will describe this time as being their personal 9/11.

I will not be happy until they all hold belts at the same time.

Ah yes, it was a selfless act from Harden, and nothing to do with the league's unwillingness to give him a max 5 year contract like he'd probably assumed 6 months ago.

Yeah, pandemic was a blessing for me to give up WWE entirely. I had already started phasing it out in late 2019...but it got easy to ignore them completely without crowds

    why?

Its a thread full of wrestling fans. Which should all want WWE to be a product worth watching and worth loving.

Especially when you look at all the talent still there -- Becky, Sami, Kevin, Seth, Bianca, Asuka... who wouldn't want them to be on a product worth loving?

What is so fucking weird about pro wrestling fans wanting the biggest platform for pro wrestling in the world with legit some of the most talented pro wrestlers in the US to actually be good, and enjoyable, and not run by demons?

That's why i wish these 5 people would all be in aew.

WWE is synonymous with VKM and therefore hateable. Also it likes Glenn Jacobs.

Yeah that's exactly what did it for me, I didn't even watch AEW during the crowdless pandemic shows for the most part which surprised myself.

AEW already struggles to make the most of its stars just because there are so many of them.

At this point, I'd much rather have a different product run by different people. And sure, have them be on good terms with AEW so some forbidden door stuff can happen, but I think competition is definitely better for everyone.

I don't need anymore wrestling promotions to watch personally. AEW Dynamite and Rampage and a few indy/NJPW shows here and there are perfect size for me.

Having wrestling on 6 nights a week was so exhausting.

i would love for those wrestlers to be on a product worth loving. it will never ever ever ever be wwe
