MOTHERFUCKING TAIGASTYLE TAKING OVER!

 

First show I went to since the pandemic started was an AIW show in Ohio. Was the most excited to see Lee wrestle even though he ended up losing. So awesome to see where he is now.

 

Its weird how little of Wrestle Kingdom is known so far. I feel like we usually have a few matches by now.

 

Japan just locked down to foreigners again. Also, they tend to announce everything after the Tag/Junior tournaments going on right now end.

 

damn omicron gonna throw another monkey wrench into another wrestlekingdom.
hopefully this is the last year wk is two nights, let alone three.

 

I was holding off on playing this game, but damn, I might need to get it today.

My guesses would be Joey Janela, Sonny Kiss, and Kip Sabian. But who knows..

I just dont see where Kip Sabian would fit in in aew rn.

At least it seems they ended on good terms. Inevitably there will be wrestlers that fall through the cracks there are don't receive the opportunities they want or maybe deserve. I think fans are understanding of that. What I think we want to see in those instances is that the wrestlers are treated with respect and allowed to continue their career as they want elsewhere.

Feel really bad that her health really derailed her time in AEW.

 

Thats the downside of the AEW womens division taking so long to getting to a place where its more than one story. They've done nothing with Nyla Rose, Jade Cargill, Statlander, and a few others for LONG swaths of time.

At least the TBS title matches have been going 10ish minutes

 

There's really no excuse for it. AEW has been a thing for nearly 3 years now and the women's division is basically in the same position it was in 3 years ago

 

at least we get two women's matches a week now, i guess. they had to get two shows to get even that far though.

Yeah, I guess that's a bit harsh. There is an improvement there, but compared to the men they get such little time

 

Covid needs to just fuck off already so we can get a joshi takeover. Then everything will be better.

 

Freddie Prinze Jr has a new podcast on his experiences with wrestling, and the third episode is about his first run working with WWE as a writer and none of it is really surprising to folks like us, but it will never not be insane to me how Vince and co actively set out to make people fail on live TV constantly
