With WWE just give Riddle the strap and see what happens. You think those morons can book and build up a babyface to become a champion? Cmon now.

 

Yeah I still feel very uneasy about Riddle. Not a fan like I used to be.

 

Genuinely curious: In modern WWE, how exactly does anyone prove that they're ready without just being thrown in the deep end of the pool with one of the two main titles and seeing whether or not they sink or swim? And even then, it's pretty damn arbitrary whether or not someone is actually ready or not when the determining factor is one man's opinion.

 

I mean, chalk another one up for "not making a new star". Granted, Riddle would have been WELL down my list, but, Randy helping him win the title then turning on him actually would have been an interesting story.

 

Especially when they tread all over their other championships these days. How is anyone meant to demonstrate they can handle the responsible and platform of holding a belt, when the mid-level titles are completely neglected?

 

It's still crazy to be that riddles wife, who defended him from all the allegations, threw him under the bus after he moved out, had nothing negative coming out of that.

 

With Lashley defending the title at the Chamber, I wonder if they’ll continue to consider Riddle…

Or they can continue to drive Brock and Roman to the damn ground and have Brock win the title yet again to do a unification match at WM. Ugh.

Gotta laugh when Becky says the woman’s division is so hot right now. Yeah so hot that they have drudge our hall of farmers for PPV matches.

 

Oh god, poor Seth

Shane McMahon was supposed to be in the Elimination Chamber match to set-up his Wrestlemania match with...Seth "Freakin" Rollins. Seth Rollins was also originally slated to be in the Rumble match. Apparently Shane really wanted him in there so they could start their program.

When the decision was made to do the chair shots after the match (also a last minute decision), Vince thought it was "too much" to have Seth both beaten down after the match AND lose the match. So they did the DQ finish to protect Seth.

 

Its physically impossible to have a single title across two shows/two networks/5 hours of TV. It just simply doesnt work.

RAW has had workhorse champions because its the only way to fill 3 hours. Bobby Lashley wrestled nearly every show (and started off most shows with a 10min promo segment). Big E as well. Replace either with Roman (who has wrestled on TV I think 4 or 5 times this year) or Brock (who hasnt wrestled on RAW since he had a Singapore Cane Match with Tommy Dreamer...if you want to guess how long ago that was) and RAW suddenly has to fill 20 more minutes of show every week.

Which, I cant see USA being happy to replace Big E or Lashley or Drew in their main event most weeks with like, Damien Priest. Or whoever's holding the IC title at the time.

edit: I guess I should say "it doesnt work for WWE", since they cant write non-title feuds.
