I mean they’ve all been there. Nothing wrong with focusing on your young stalwarts while the main event feud that has legs for days is the main focus of the program. Not every world title match needs to be the main event.

 

Really want to see MJF lose the title on a random collision to Punk because it’d make the entire thread mad

I am just of the belief that your world title should always main event a PPV

 

Half of WWE PLE shows don’t even have the world champion on them so I’ll take what I can get. AEW rarely has the world title play second fiddle and at least MJF is defending it even if it isn’t the most exciting feud.

 

But I’m also biased in thinking MJF has been a fucking terrible champion - same tired promos and wrestles less than Roman Reigns lol

 

Right and the fact that MJF’s third defense is already second fiddle says it all to me

I mean his last PPV match was one of the best matches in AEW history and the best Ironman match I’ve ever seen. He reign has been booked pretty bad from a build stand point but I’d also say that’s not entirely his fault and the match with Bryan alone makes his reign anything but shitty lol

 

Bryan Danielson can make any one look good but I agree MJF is fine in the ring - I have no qualms with his wrestling ability

 

I feel like they need to build Cole super hard for the next three months and have him win the title at All Out. That would be my pick for the next champ.
