Someone pointed out on Reddit that he's literally been every brand champ. FCW, NXT, WWE, Universal, now this bastard belt.

Depending on the definition...he beat him at WM31, at Battleground (via Undertaker), WM35, and Summerslam that year. Roman's beaten Lesnar more, but, he's surely the only dude.

If I had to guess, Seth is fine with short matches. He doesnt care that he demanded to start WM35, dick kicked Brock, and wins. Or that he's in that WM31 match for a couple minutes. Whereas Dean wanted a 15+ minute hardcore match, etc.

 

Seth usually has good matches. I don’t understand anything about his current gimmick and I guess that’s the point.

Michael Cole said Trish’s last singles match was 4 years ago and I’m like what about Charlotte… and that was 4 years ago wtf

 

Ironically enough, a few weeks ago I randomly wondered how many times Brock lost (specific to being pinned, not like the technical loss at WM31 where he wasn’t pinned) and it was barely double digits and I think Roman is the only person to beat more than once and I think he made up almost half of all of Lesnar’s matches. Maybe Angle has beaten more than once, but I think that’s it.

 

Don’t watch the blood money shows, but that Jimmy superkick bit was a repeat watch moment. Not quite as good as the Sami chair shot, but pretty close.

 

The Zoey Stark spot was pretty cool

This was my introduction to AEW.

 

If they don’t have an homage to that moment tonight is it truly anarchy in the arena?

 

Pretty excited for the show tonight. Even though the builds have been not great, the card is stacked and should be great with the exception of the Jade match. At this point, I can’t wait for her to lose. I’m hoping we get a surprise or two to build up FD. I’m assuming something with the Trios match and maybe a surprise entrant in the battle royal. The amount of talent in that battle royal in insane. I hope it’s given the time to shine because it could be really special.

 

Randomly watching bits and clips of blood money 2023 and not sure if it’s supposed to be an homage to the character but Rhea’s outfit gives me major Catwoman vibes (Which is cool, not a bad thing)

 

Putting NXT up against DON is incredibly stupid. The NXT card is pretty good and would have been much better suited for the afternoon or last night. I’ll probably check it out tomorrow, but can’t imagine anyone not checking DON out just so they can watch NXT lol

 

I actually wouldn’t be surprised if Statlander returns tonight

 

I’m skipping on ordering DON, which is the first time in a long time that I haven’t bought an AEW PPV. I’d rather save the money for Forbidden Door.

I’ll have Battleground on my TV and a DON stream on my laptop. It’s gonna be a good night.

 

I just ordered it through my VPN (using the UK)…they have a bundle of DON/FD/All Out/Full Gear for $72.

Regarding All In, I still figure it will be on Max since they haven't said anything about PPV. Thought they would have announced it at the upfronts, but maybe it'll be better suited for a HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT FROM TONY KHAN in the next month or two lol.

 

Apparently the WHC match had to go first because “Seth had to get out of Saudi Arabia right away”.

Not sure if that’s true or what that means (family emergency? Something to do with SA?) but figure there are a lot of folks in this thread that know how to find info on behind the scenes stuff so would be curious if that’s true or not and/or why.

 

Maybe he had to get back to the set of Captain America 4
