I get you want to open shows with a great match to get the crowd hyped but it looks hilarious to have your brand new definitely not a participation trophy second or third rate new championship belt be crowned to open the show while the “actual” champion once again closes a show and not even in a match where those/that title was on the line lol

they yet again paint the picture of Roman being more important than this new championship. Seriously wonder how long the title lasts at this rate.

I don’t watch the blood money shows but give Asuka all the belts including the new made up one

I still play “No Mercy” from time to time and just beat “Def Jam: Fight For NY,” so graphics aren’t that big of a deal. But if that gameplay isn’t stellar, that’s a big yikes.

 

There is something really beautiful about what the Usos have been doing...Jey had the same face for this that he did when Sami turned on Roman. And in both cases, its Jimmy that gets violent immediately in the chaos...just with polar opposite reasoning.

Jey got his time to shine early in the run; now Jimmy should get a go. And honestly, they're at the point where they probably need to build a Jimmy v Jey match onto the Summerslam or WM card. Sami being a little too chummy with an Uso during that would also be an easy Sami v KO split.

 

Its so odd to 50/50 book Cody like this...he doesn't need the boost that, say, AJ Styles got in actually beating Cena in the best of 3 way back when. Nor does a feud with him and Brock need both finishes protected (roll-up last time, Cody casted up this time). Kinda feels like he's not gonna be the guy to beat Roman, which would be real hilarious

It should be Seth who beats Roman - he can carry a company - Cody can’t

 

In a way I think I will forever be surprised at how Seth gets treated. He’s beaten Lesnar several times (I think), he’s beaten Roman, he’s the first new WHC champ, etc. you would think that Rollins has forever been a WWE guy like Orton or Cena with how Vince and Trips have handled his career.

(also makes me forever fascinated what gets Lesnar to go along with who he puts over. Rollins isn’t very different in size vs Cody, Ambrose (before he bulked up) and others so I wonder why Brock agreed to work with him so much and put him over or let him look strong vs wrestlers of similar size. Seems like he knows at times what is best for business but weird how he rejects certain storylines (vs working with people around his size which wouldn’t make it shocking when he loses - a la Big Show, Undertaker (wait. Has Undertaker ever beaten Lesnar? Maybe with the crotch kicks in a SS match?) Goldberg, Reigns.

 

So Asuka vs Iyo in a couple months? Hopefully?
