There's something about the presentation of Aussie Open that bugs me - though I can't put my finger on it. I think they're great heel tag team workers - knowing how to do the little things right, not dissimilar from FTR, but something about their look or packaging kills the vibe for me.

 

The neck surgery he had, at least if it's similar to those that mid-00's WWE talent had, should put him on the shelf for ~a year, which would put him at a Summer return.

That said, I don't know how (if at all) his Type 1 Diabetes could affect his healing process, so we'll see.

It's hilarious how Mexican promotions make it so difficult for people to see and enjoy their shit.

 

I mean I get it I guess but it seems super petty when it’s like “you can only hear the match with our guy since we aren’t putting the show on”. Makes me not want to ever get into AAA.

 

I remember why I don’t watch AAA

 

It doesn't feel like the kind of content in which people are more likely to seek out AAA because they can't see him elsewhere. I know it's good to create a buzz, but I think wrestling fans have shown when they love a guy/gal, they'll consume as much of them as they can, so they should try to maximize his exposure, not suppress it.

 

It's just stupid how they handle it. It feels like they don't really care about getting any of the US market. The fact that Luchablog is probably the best bridge between most Mexican promotions and people outside of the country speaks volumes. It baffles him a lot of the time by the way they act.

 

AAA has at least allowed GCW to stream Vikingo matches. I’m shocked they did that but I could also see GCW giving them some of that Triller money lol I can kind of see why they wouldn’t want his matches on a smaller indie being streamed even if I think it’s petty.
