I haven’t watched an NXT PPV in ages. Hoping this one is good.

I like this thing where one tag team partner cheats and the other doesn’t. Don’t see it too often. Not that I can think of, any way.

 

I’m gonna have to go back and watch this. Just saw the Bloodline segment from yesterday. That was some nuclear heat for Roman. He looks so unhinged yelling at Sami in the corner. It’s borderline uncomfortable

 

Gonna be a real bummer when Roman wins over Sami in Montreal, due to Jey turning back, and the best Sami gets out of this is a tag title reign.

Will watch Vengeance Day tomorrow but I saw a clip of Carmelo coming out at the end of the show. Glad he’s officially next in line. They stalled on it too long but I get that probably want to align the title change with a potential Bron call up after.

 

Yeah I think Carmelo wins at Stand and Deliver (hopefully) and Bron debuts on the Raw after WM

 

Bron matches are so dull. Big guys doing what he does should be entertaining as hell, but I honestly can’t think of a good match he’s been in. Admittedly I’ve only been watching NXT again properly for about 6 months now, but the title picture is routinely the most dull thing on the show. Even with the top talent he’s come up against.

 

Finished watching the show. Incredibly fun start to finish. Opener was a classic Takeover style match and all the women shone. Just disappointed in Gallus winning as the three others were all so over. Would have rather had Chase U take the titles.

 

About goddamn time.

 

Just remembered the bit in the men’s tag match last night when Pretty Deadly put the announce table cover thing back on and tried to clean up. Both incredibly funny and got them heat for not giving the crowd the violence they wanted.

Good shit right there.

 

Could have just found this instead of typing all that out. But still. Good shit.
