The reality of this is AEW isn’t going to have enough room for everyone that’s either gonna be fired or asked to be let go.

 

Now is the time to call the bluff on the whole "independent contractor" thing. Walk and show up in AEW whenever the fuck you want. They don't have a leg to stand on.

Refusing to see this as anything but a good thing. WWE is dead within 5 years and multiple companies build on top of it's grave. I believe the youth call it manifesting.

 

Impact might be the winner out of this 5 years down the road. They’ve had a great product (minus Bully Ray) for the last few years and might be in a position to sign some great talent.

 

WWE no competes wont hold up in court, they've folded every time it came to that. And the FTC just proposed a ban on no competes as well...so absolute worst case we're about 12-18 months away from them going bye bye legally.

 

yup. might be good news for Impact. But I'm not really sure this actually hurts WWE's viewership too much especially if the Saudi's throw lots of money at it and the Trumpies rally around the brand. So I think a lot of people just get fucked as they either gotta sell their soul to the Saudis or get left out in the cold.

Definitely think you might see some AEW talent get poached as the Saudi's open up the back account. Like if Jericho wasn't already headed back... might as well get a massive paycheck and make your wife happy in the process

This is something I feel like everyone’s overlooked. People’s morals go out the window fast when you’re dealing with the kind of money those people can offer you.

 

Given the highs of Sasha being in New Japan, I can see that being one of the more enticing options.

 

I mean, USA can pull their carrying rights tomorrow if they want. This is honestly an insane risk that only makes sense if Vince is just deadset on being head of creative again. Cause his leaving gave USA/FOX the easy out of not having to say anything...but advertisers are 100% going to react to Vince being back and this sale.
