Mox/Bryan vs Top Flight, Darby/Bennett and the tag title match were all great. I’ve come around on Jarrett. He’s so good at drawing heat and as long as he is teaming with Lethal I’m cool with it. AEW put on a very fun live show for it looking mediocre on paper. I also loved them using PNW guys for Dark. Cool to see a lot of local favorites in a large setting.

Max from WAC’s Twitter seems to suggest Jaiden, Icky, Migs and Travis Williams all made it on?

My seat ended up being dead center on camera, my wife kept sending me pictures of myself all night haha. Very good show, was surprised to see OC retain. Crowd had kinda died by that point but at least my section got a second wind at the finish

    nice

What kind of reaction did Migs get? Cause at least in Seattle he’s one of the biggest heels in WAC and SOS (so Fuck Steve Migs) but he’s there ring announcer for Defy so the defiance actually likes him and cheers for him instead of loving to hate him

I actually left as soon as BOTB ended so I missed the 2nd hour of Dark. I’ve been up since five and another hour of squash matches was too much for me. I appreciate AEW putting on long shows for the fans, but the amount of squashes is a little overkill. All the locals got great reactions though with Jaiden’s being by far the loudest. So happy to see him get that pop even though he got killed by Hobbs lol

i wish Defy would use him more. The Bird is my favorite SOS/321 guy. Also really stoked Icky got a match cause I love him too

Based on the reactions this week, I’d be very surprised if Full Gear wasn’t in Seattle. Definitely making the trip if that happens.

For sure! I might even make the trip if it’s not a PPV. The Portland crowd was pretty good, but you guys absolutely killed it up there on Wednesday and made me jealous. Makes me want to travel to a Defy show up there haha

If you’re comfortable with it, I do have a guest room if you ever wanna come up for a show on a Saturday and not have to dive back that night

Appreciate the offer buddy. That definitely is part of the reason I haven’t made trip up yet along with having my daughter every weekend. If I ever do make the trip up I may take you up on that offer. The only Defy show I’ve been to up there was in Tacoma during the Super J Cup weekend and it was amazing. First indie show I ever attended. I wish they were able to do better in Portland, but their shows definitely don’t draw that well here. It’s more Prestige territory, but I like the Defiance better haha

Im just jealous you get DOA. I love Defy and it fulfills it’s spot in the city, but the DOA/SOS kinda show appeals to me more than Prestige or Defy. Characters like Pitfall Jones or Big Cat or Zeb just hit the mark for what I love about wrestling and I hate that Defy is too cool to showcase some of the guys that are more about character than work rate. And now that SOS is in Tacoma on Friday nights I really can’t get there

I think they’re splitting the title before mania and just don’t know which one the winner will be challenging for lol

based on the rumble poster, it sure seems like the rock will be at the show

Ultimately I imagine WWE is getting sold, if Vince can’t run it, that same pettiness will make him take the money and try to start something else.

he can team up with punk and like, Tessa Blanchard and create a thing

My only problem with JJ is surely they have two heels on the roster who can draw heat and work better than JJ. It’s surely a short term nostalgia run…but I’d rather them use The Gunns or Andrade stable or he’ll, the butcher and the blade to nearly get that title win. The Lethal trio had plenty of heat without JJ and it just seems like they’re dancing around giving The Acclaimed a stronger opponent

Only non-obvious names are Endeavour and Liberty Media (F1's ownership).

    Also Saudis aren't mentioned...

I’d agree but none of those teams can draw heat like JJ. The Gunn’s get go away heat from me, Butcher/Blade have been a low mid card tag team forever and we haven’t seen Andrade in a while. These matches are getting the Acclaimed over pretty big with live crowds due to the crowd absolutely hating JJ. None of the teams you listed would elicit even close to that reaction unfortunately. I think this feud is almost over anyways. They can’t do these type of matches for more than a few matches. I’d personally like to see them face Garcia/Sammy or Lucha Bros next.

Yeah last weds was by far the best JJ performance I have ever seen. No one on that roster could draw that heat as masterful as he did.

He is a long time vet and this is the first time he doesnt feel that out of place, being with Lethal is solid. Lets see how long it lasts lol.

JJ celebrating Billy getting ejected was so god damn entertaining.
