Who do we think wins the men’s Rumble match? And does that person go into a feud with Roman or (god forbid) go after the US title?

Haven’t kept up with Sami and the Bloodline so maybe I’m way off base but could he win it “accidentally” by trying to help the Usos eliminate someone and the Usos go over the top rope too leaving Sami as the winner and that builds to a “will he won’t he?” kind of storyline against Roman (thinking kind of like the Batista vs Trips feud)

Not sure if the office / Trips believes in Sami that much to be the guy to beat Roman but they could certainly pull it off.

Guess I just don’t see any other alternative (besides maybe KO, Sheamus, Cody) that doesn’t have the fans boo the face against Roman as whoever beats Roman has gotta be meaningful (so not The Rock which it may still be but I can’t see Trips being into not having whoever beats Roman be an up and comer or underdog story)

KO probably challenges for the title at rumble

Zayn maybe challenges for it at EC since it’s in Montreal

probably sets up KO and Sami teaming up to beat the Usos for the tag titles at Mania

 

Has there been any update on him? I feel like right when he got hurt a bunch of people said, “good thing he’ll be back in time for the Rumble” but not sure where that timeline was coming from and/or if he’s still on track for that (although you could have him at 30, take very few bumps, win and not take many bumps in the lead up to WM if he still needs a few more weeks)

 

ah yes, that’s right. That’s what it seemed/seems like they are building towards

 

He was on Raw this week saying (vaguely) that his goal is to win the world title in 2023. I don't think he gave any specific timeline updates, but assuming he's recovered well, he'll probably be ready next month.

 

I haven’t seen a Cena match since 2014 and I was shocked that he didn’t have the military crew cut. That and he looks like a walking bicep now.

 

I’ll never understand the Charlotte hate beyond her being pushed so heavily a few years ago

 

On the other hand I’d have never believed you if you told me they would bring Bray back to feud with LA Knight and it would actually be good

 

Was tonight the first time that masked person from Bray’s promos was physically seen or has that character shown up before? Crowd reaction at first made it seem like a surprise that it was actually a person / not just a “mental” figment of Bray’s imagination or something but odd that the character had its own music and by the time it got to the ring the crowd seemed less enthusiastic about it

 

He showed up a couple of weeks back and stood by the entrance laughing. Also probably a different person as the guy last night was a lot leaner.

Also I don’t think they got less enthusiastic. Seemed a lot more like a hushed curiosity. Or just hedging their bets in case it’s drawn out even longer haha. The fact he got physical suggests it’s ramping up a bit now.
