If you’re just looking at WWE, he’s not too far off when you consider most of that time was spent by having Brock defend the title twice a year.

This was one of my criticisms too though. Like we gave WWE shit for doing it even though they don’t call it a best of 7. We should be able to give AEW shit for it too

 

The thing is this best of 7 has stakes and is part of a long term feud. WWE has been full of 50/50 booking with lazy ass builds that amount to nothing. It’s such an unfair comparison.

 

What are they doing here with Wardlow & Joe

The inconsistent selling of the knee is pretty funny.

 

I mean, CM Punks 434 days is still within the window...but a month from now, probably a reasonable argument. D-Brys WM30 win barely lasts. Rollins cash-in is interesting, but he got hurt when he hit his groove. The 2 years that follow are Roman f'ing things up. There's a few really good short runs in terms of character work (Daniel Bryan as Planets Champ, Kofimania, Jeri-KO), but, everything the Bloodline has done with Sami alone has basically lasted longer than any of those...and thats 700 days into his run.

Definitely cant go further back than 10yrs though.

 

I mean, I kinda buy a dude as jacked as Wardlow being able to do some one-off stuff (certainly more than say, The Bucks, etc). But yeah, he's got some work to do on selling.

 

Love me some Joe...but...they spent how long building Wardlow to do, that?
