ACCUSATIONS

 

If any of my friends were a disrespectful asshole (not to mention SUCKER-PUNCHED someone) to good people I wouldn’t be friends with them anymore.

 

But if they were never that close to those people in the first place (which I doubt FTR and the Bucks are aside from mutual respect), then it doesn’t really affect them. Guys like them, Bowens, Hobbs, etc. seemed to have their own personal relationships with Punk. They may not agree with what he did but in the grand scheme of things, it had nothing to do with them.

 

So its okay if your friends sucker punch people they work with but arent close with? What is this argument lol

weird to act like it’s a character flaw for someone to remain friends with their friend after they did something dumb. Never said it was okay at all. I don’t support what he did; I just said it probably doesn’t matter to the people he’s friends with if they continue to admire him for the bonds they formed with him.

 

What Punk did is very small compared to what other people in the business have done. Is he an asshole? Yes. Is he a piece of shit ? I’m not willing to go that far. You can be a asshole but also be a good or decent person. His ego is the issue.

He’s not Velveteen Dream or Brian Kendrick, why should anyone be bent out of shape if he’s still friends with AEW wrestlers they like? My line for who I think adults I don’t know should be friendly with is further than brawl out, sorry.
