Super stoked for Danhausen. He’s incredibly entertaining and been working at it for quite a while. He obviously won’t be main evening but he’s solid comedic relief and a perfect addition to the Best Friends stable. He’s super over and it’s the perfect time to sign him. I’m sure he will be able to still do all of his stuff on the indies too. He’s doing a guest GM for an indie event here next month with a meet/greet. Very excited for that that.

Cristen did not get Danhausen at all last night and thought it was very dumb and not at all funny or cool or exciting and definitely was judging me for thinking it was funny and cool and exciting. And then as I tried to explain the whole Danhausen bit, she hit me with a pretty great burn: "I think WWE is so bad right now that you guys are desperate to think that literally anything is good."

I disagree, but it still stung.

That is..... actually a pretty great prediction.

Is it in poor taste for me to stand by my prediction from last week that OC would win his main event match at a Dynamite episode named after one of his signature moves? Especially in a lights out match that allows Cole to keep his officially undefeated record. I was wrong that it set up Cole's next feud though - as I don't think Danhausen will have that honour.

 

IWTV put up the first episode of the second season of The Masked Wrestler. Really cool concept and a short fun show. Should definitely check out.
