I think Candice is due next month, so as much as it makes sense for Johnny to debut in Cleveland, im sure he doesn't want to get caught up promotions and shit right before that.

 

Honestly danhausen got a bigger pop from me than gargano because I didn’t even think about danhausen debuting

 

Yeah, that was perfect. He's gonna live on Dark, so give the crowd that knows him a chance to pop and fans that dont know him some curiosity.

 

Super happy for him. He’s busted his ass and am glad AEW grabbed him. So much potential there for some truly great angles.

 

Its also just, what do you do with him? He seems like a perfect guy to drop into a Casino Battle Royal as the ace at DoN, and give him a TNT or main title shot. And maybe Ciampa is out of WWE by then too

Feels like Pac v Malakai is also something they're setting up. They've spent a lot of time showing the Dark matches with Hirsch/Stat, so feels like that is leading to the womens contender. But we're now under a month from the PPV and I legit have no idea who's challenging for the tag belts, womens title, or main title at the PPV

I don't personally get Danhausen but he seems like a great guy to have for comedy/backstage segments that you can put on Dark who will also sell metric fucktons of merch

I mentioned in here a few days ago AEW people need to go out and do more media. Danhausen is the perfect guy to do that with. Book that man on every late night talk show. Great signing.

having him pop up randomly during shows and put curses on people is a good way to introduce his character

 

I now need to think of a way to describe him to non-wrestling fans. "If multiple side characters from The Simpsons were amalgamated together and became a living breathing person" seems the most accurate but still doesn't do the gimmick justice.
