Oh I know - it’s so obvious that TK signed MJF long term

 

So, its complicated because its quite possible he legitimately threatened to walk on AEW back before Double or Nothing, but, well before that he has teased being a free agent in 2024 when his original 5yr deal is up. When he signed, he was seen as a guy who could be good, but, surely was not making the millions that someone in his current position should be making.

He has said in interviews he would never re-sign until then, to drive up the price. How much of that is in character and how much is real, who knows, but he's clearly gonna use it for heat until then.

The loose assumption is he probably re-signed for way more money to come back at All Out, but, nobody knows

 

Only thing that's different right now is they didnt start the show with his 20 minute promo.

Do love that they built that bit of kayfabe where Mox gets run out of the building so they could do that Regal sequence
