Hangman at least got the perfect chase...doesnt feel like Jamie's even gonna get that, sadly.

Though thats where AEW is best (and WWE was always the worst)...they create people you want to see win the titles, but dont usually nail the actual champions. Whereas WWE's biggest chases they fell ass backwards into...but when they commit to a champion, it usually works pretty well (current Roman, Miz and the IC title, Cena and the US title, etc)

 

Apparently Swerve (which seemed obvious on the show) and Samoa Joe were supposed to be in Philly tonight.

That lumberjack segment was so bad Toni had to almost kill Serena to get anyone in the crowd to react. Match itself was good in a vacuum but woof.
