Dude was suspended awhile back from TV too for taking bookings that weren’t approved by AEW.

Kinda wonder if the Julia Hart table spot is similar; cause I have no fucking clue what she does in her current gimmick if Malakai and Buddy are gone.

Though, truthfully, unless Buddy wants to go to Impact, Im not really sure he has any different a role in WWE or wherever as he has in AEW.

 

maybe this'll get tony to stop going after shiny new toys who he doesn't have any clear plans for

 

Buddy was doing good shit in WWE during his cruiser weight days and when he was first called up. I could see HHH wanting him but yeah I don’t ever see him going past the Cesaro level there

 

He may not ever be a main event star, but being a mid card guy in the same company as your partner probably sound better than being in a company where your outlook doesn’t look as good as it once was thanks to your friend leaving.

 

Regarding House of Black and even some other past WWE talent, some of them may not be winning belts, but they're at least on TV more consistently than they were, and it's sometimes unclear to me whether the questionable creative and storytelling on AEW is TK's fault or their own - knowing how much say most of them have, especially outside the world title picture. Plus, if they were to all go back now, they'd run into the same talent logjam they face in AEW, with no hope of going over Roman either.

However, I totally get anyone who wants to work with their significant other - recognizing wrestler relationships are hard enough when you're in the same company, let alone travelling to opposite corners of the continent.

Stoked to finally see Bandido in AEW. Would be cool if it wasn’t a one time thing. He would be great even if they only used him on occasion for ROH.

Yeah, this part makes sense to me, that if you're toiling in the midcard, its almost better to be slightly less good in WWE and with your wife than a stronger AEW booking.

But like, Malakai, Miro, a few others...their WWE booking as sooo bad that Id still be worried about it even with HHH in charge
