In NXT she was

 

Before someone talks about how badly her character has been handled, which is true, I think it's worth pointing out that even in NxT at her peak she was never as over as some of the other girls in the same position

 

I went to the last Takeover in front of a crowd in Portland. The crowd went apeshit for her and Bianca. Rhea was definitely over at that point. They killed her when Charlotte beat her at WM a month later for a simple ratings boost attempt for NXT.

 

Rhea sold that ddt like death

 

i feel like NXT over is a completely different thing. its like being over with your mom and all her friends. of course they are cheering for you.

 

Thats mostly because WWE has absolutely killed almost every call up except Bianca the last few years. Being over in NXT would translate better to the main roster if WWE didn’t bury everyone who is called up.

 

She was super over when NXT won their survivor series match
