That poor IC Title. Where do you even go from Braun? Gotta be a heel doing shitty things to get it off him, but then what? Braun ends up in limbo. It feels like putting the belt on him was kinda lose/lose. I guess you could give him a long run and do an injury angle or something?

 

They fucked up Braun so bad. Probably just as bad as they did Ryback originally

 

I never bought into Braun being the top champ. I don't think it would have gone well. Maybe the first month when he was red hot, but even then.

 

Losing to someone like Black is exactly the type of thing that Taker's streak should have actually been saved for.

 

Feels like the spot for the multi-man ladder match; KO came into WM32 as champ and then entered the Sami feud that was tangential to the IC title after...no idea who braun would feud with though

 

Better than that Brock reign of terror for a while. And I like Brock. Could have at least helped Braun’s credibility. Now it’s hard to get Braun back to that point if they wanted to. They could be saying “hey he’s been champ before, he can do this”.
