I know the dirt sheets are unreliable, but the stuff about Aleister is as on brand for knowing Vince as I've ever see. Literally missing everything good about the character

 

Imagine how great he’d be in AEW

 

Obviously everybody’s situation is different and who knows what some of these people get paid which might make some of the stupidity they go through worth it, but does every single wrestler feel like they’ll somehow not get their character fucked up by Vince / the main roster? Obviously they’re all egocentric as hell and probably do think they’re different and yadda yadda yadda but look at the last 20+ years and see how many people make it out unscathed or in a good character position. Yeah, 90% of the problem is Vince and the main roster writing staff and whatnot but they’re also partly responsible after seeing shit character after shit character from someone who was good/great before entering WWE or being brought up to the main roster.

with AEW in town I wonder if a few years from now if people will demand to remain in NXT and/or not even sign with WWE so they can avoid the typical embarrassments most get hit with now that there’s a legit second option available

 

I think the fact that Cole, Gargano, Ciampa, and a few others are still in NXT is proof they are already demanding that. Cause statistically, the way NXT works, at least one of those dudes should be main roster

but it's more likely that Vince is holding off on their main roster debuts until crowds are back too

 

also we already know Asuka will win the title back at SummerSlam because Sasha can never successfully defend the title lol

But then she will take Bayleys title

 

I don't think we are even close to a Bayley and Sasha feud - feels like a summer 2021 thing at the earliest

• Wrestling Observer Live’s Bryan Alvarez has heard Vince McMahon’s goal is to not have another PPV “in an empty arena with a bunch of fans wearing masks... he wants something wacky for SummerSlam.”

They'll call up who they want to call up when they want; see: Bianca Belair who cant get on TV despite a clearly planned and pushed for call-up.

Vince McMahon who has mixed opinions shall we say. Vince added that creek to the entrance when he leverages up, and now he has removed the entrance all together. We haven't seen the Aleister Black entrance in a long time. To put it bluntly, Vince thinks that there's something missing about Aleister Black. It's similar to how he feels about Cesaro.

Giving up on a push that was working...removing the mystique from a character that was what helped set him apart...doing it with some god awful sound effect (see also: Ricochets bullet sound)

Black wouldn’t be in the Dark Order. Also the Dark Order have one of the best stories going on at the moment in AEW.
