Dave was saying Dynamite was filming a bunch of stuff this week to fill the time. I'm wondering if they had a bit of a heads up that this was coming.

 

im glad talent is gonna get the chance to stay home and take care of themselves. imagine your Wrestlemania turning into staying in some hotel, only to be let free to film disjointed TV in front of no one for days. fuckin sucks. especially because the "we won't hold it against you" promise isnt remotely tangible or demonstrable

 

The absolute best thing that could happen to WWE right now is to take a few months off.

 

further cements that we are almost definitely getting Brock and Goldberg retaining at a Wrestlemania in the fuckin year 2020

 

You think so? I feel like taking off a few months after having new main champions crowned can create a lot more buzz than if those old farts retain.

 

i think it would create "wow so weird" buzz that would fade in days tbh. Reigns' rumored replacement as champ would excite no one and i dont think McIntyre is over enough to sustain hype over months of no content. i think Goldberg as champ is much bigger to a casual fan and Brock as champ is comfortable enough that, if you wait a few months and run Reigns and McIntyre out to win their titles on one of the first shows back in front of arenas of people that havent gotten to cheer anything in months, the pops would be tremendous

 

Feels weird beating Braun AGAIN.

 

Well Braun did get pinned by Sami Zayn so you know WWE views him as the ultimate loser

 

after what they did with Bray i expect nothing less

 

I like that Seth can just admit vkm botched the entire fiend gimmick

 

Thing is, I cant imagine a world where they are gonna be able to run Summerslam in Boston the way they imagined. The biggest mistake they would make is changing their planned title changes because "it'll be better in front of a crowd in a few months". Crowd sports are gonna be one of the last things brought back I'd bet

 

im not suggesting they change it because itll be better in front of a crowd in a few months exclusively, the bigger concern is there may not even be Raw or Smackdown for a few months. having titles change hands and being completely unable to follow those stories up for an undetermined amount of time feels like a guaranteed loss of momentum

 

Yeah idk about that, I honestly don't think it matters either way but, premiering with new champs sounds a hell of a lot better than the champs we have now who barely work.

 

i think premiering with title rematches and new champions on air in front of a crowd does more imo. i dont think Drew McIntyre's first like promo as champ or whatever carries nearly as much weight as a rematch with Brock where he wins. all my opinion of course.

 

i hope the thread is bumpin for these shows
