I would not call this the biggest cheating scandal in sports history...by a large margin.

 

Yeah, sports history is a stretch. The 1919 White Sox scandal is worse...team actively throwing the World Series is worse than team stealing signals. But it might arguably be #2 in baseball, and possibly top 5ish in major sports

 

Pete Rose would be reeeeal high. Deflategate almost went to the Supreme a court. Roger Clemens had to testify before Congress. McGuire and Bonds cheating a legendary record. Astros are bad but there’s been some craaaaazy shit in sports lol

 

See, these dont really stand out to me because the list was what, 100+ people. Every team basically had someone juicing. Whereas the Astros appear to have been alone in stealing signals the way they did. Likewise Patriots with Spygate stealing sideline signals.

Rose is trickier...if he can be trusted (BIG IF), he never bet on his team to lose...but, having a dude betting games is real bad.

Yeah this PPV looks awful. The biggest match on the card is basically a #1 contender's match. None of the big men or women's singles titles even on the line at all.

Wwe should make a documentary on this era now because at least their docs make the stuff look good. I actually want to go back and watch the ruthless aggression era but also I’m sure there’s a reason I stopped watching then.

Did we ever get Batista/Brock or Batista/Goldberg? I’d be up for that. They should just split mania into two nights and have a part time/old timer day and an actual current storyline/roster day
