The match should’ve ended with the buckshot/v trigger thing. But they made Hangman look like a Star here

This match went from incredible to just fucking stupid for the last ten mins. That moonsault powerslam should’ve ended the match.

Nope. Loved every second.

 

Amazing match, definitely went 5 minutes too long. The Hangman Angel was cool but could've been slotted in earlier. That Buckshot V-Trigger absolutely should've been the end. The actual finish was less impressive

 

too many near falls and kick outs for moves that should've finished for sure but that's just the style here at this point

 

Yeah, doubling down on this. Could have set up that OWA sequence without it, and everything else to that point was signatures/big moves that got kicked out of.

My problem with a lot of bucks matched is the finish never lives up to the whole match. That match at 20 minutes? Incredible. At 25? Absurd. At 30? Just too much.

 

I mean, I look past it constantly in WWE and says more about the state of their match production 95% of the time and what I've been conditioned to expect. But when one of your own selling points is how you're not going to do exactly that, it's twice as evident and silly to me when you break it. It's wrestling, you can make your own rules! If you want to do a tag match were 85% of the action is chaos and all four guys going at it constantly, just make the match a tornado tag!

 

We are in the age of kicking out of big finishers. That's just how it is and I'm all the fuck about it

it no longer is a detraction for me but it's only cause ive been conditioned to it. in a tag match theres really no reason for it when theres another guy who could just break it up instead

 

Holy mother of god. AEW is so much better than anything out there.

I'm fine with all the false finishes, but as anyone who remembers my commentary on any Okada match ever, it's really hard for me to believe that a lariat is what ends a match like that and not one of the 50 insane spots before that.
