I think it's hilarious when people project their thoughts and opinions onto real-life couples whose relationships they know absolutely nothing about.

 

Man, how did Steph and HHH's relationship ever survive with those storylines???

 

I know we expect crowd noises being overdubbed for taped Raw/SDs, but I forgot just how bad it is. It’s not even subtle either. Or even well done. It’s like they pause it half way through a reaction. So odd.

? If one is in a romance story line with someone other than their partner, there is a high probability that the relationship won't last. Matt Hardy and Lita, Matt Hardy and Ashley Massaro, HHH and Chyna, CM Punk and Lita, and more that I can't remember off the top of my head. You're right though, I know absolutely nothing about Russev and Lana's marriage. Heck, I don't even know their real names. I just know numbers and probability. shrug.

Probably because he's not an idiot, and doesn't want to screw up getting the keys to the "universe". The ramifications for his marriage breaking apart are much larger than most other peoples in the company.

Maybe not the best example since HHH started a story line relationship with Stephanie while he was real life dating Chyna, and that one didnt end well for Chyna.

But it seems pretty obvious that "Lana dating another guy" in story line isnt gonna ruin their marriage, since the last time they did one of these (Lana/Ziggler), they got engaged and are now married. Its just a god awful story that has killed the credibility of both guys.

Sad to see the end of Vince and Linda. Hope Vince and Trish are happy together.

 

Deal lord remember when Linda was like a mute in a wheelchair and Vince would make out with Trish in front of her. There is so much you could unpack psychologically with that shit.

 

I think a psychologist would be more interested in the fact he once pushed for a incest storyline with his own daughter.

 

But you can't say that it didn't eventually lead into one of the biggest pops at X7.

 

And the outcome of that Trish stuff was her making her bark like a dog and that nasty slop bucket shit. Being a WWE woman wrestler in the 1999-2001 era was absolute insanity where you had to be willing to get stripped to nearly nothing on a weekly basis.

And Trish got to take out Stephanie to set that all up. Story was fucked up but they paid it off. I cant see any way they pay off this Rusev/Lana/Lashley thing

 

Vince and Linda is 100% a loveless marriage.

 

Rusev and Lashley both ditch Lana and they start dating

 

Now there's a story line I'd watch. They'd be a pretty awesome tag team, and a machka kick->spear->accolade combo would be cool.

 

That would be so awesome. Rusev would be such a bigger babyface with that move, and Lashley would actually have something cool to do. This would actually get me to watch an episode of Raw.

Too bad WWE doesn’t have the balls and vision to pull it off.
