too soon, too soon. there hasn't been enough tv or story for us to get invested in MJF as a character and his relationship with Cody. They could've milked and teased that for another couple months easily

Thought the dude who threw the drink at MJF was Brandon Cutler at first

 

felt like too soon for the heel turn, i thought tweener mjf had some more mileage in it

 

gotta imagine that was a plant with an AEW shirt on, but if not, even better

 

jesus, JR totally blew introducing this match lol

 

Loved that Cody Jericho match, I genuinely cared and really wanted Cody to win, I'm not even a huge Cody fan but the build up was so perfect. MJF throwing in the towel was BRUTAL and awesome at the same time. Spectacular job imo

 

I get that, but you arent gonna get a more perfect time for a heel turn than costing a guy his chance at title shots for good.

Perfect spot for Cody to use all his goodwill and pass it to a future major heel. And with Pac having lost; and pending the outcome of this, maybe Moxley losing, they kind of need a heel to build for when Jericho gets dethroned.
