But we've been dealing with a company that doesn't get simple basics in story telling for so long that stuff like this doesn't bother me almost at all.

I wonder how much of this is people just being like “I can wait to watch NXT tomorrow because they’ll show it on the network commercial free”. I wonder if they stop that eventually

 

I don't think the WWE network makes that much of a difference in numbers. If anything it expands their access to people that don't have cable. You can already watch NXT on the USA App with commercials as its available there before its on the Network for people with cable. I think AEW just has a larger number of people who prefer to watch it live. More has to do with them crushing with the younger demos than anything WWE is doing with NXT and how accessible it is on the Network.

Also, NXT did like 850k the one time they put it on USA before AEW; so, the idea they are pulling 700k a week seems about right (losing some audience to AEW, etc).

Im just confused why their 18-49 demo is so low. Like, NXT should not be losing to Hannity and Guy's Grocery games in that realm.
