I think that’s my problem. He doesn’t go far enough. He just wear chaps and a leather jacket to the ring and then it’s gone. Like watching a match knowing nothing about him and you wouldn’t know the gimmick. I hope he grows on me more because I really do want to like him more.

 

But that’s nearly the whole uppercard of the AEW roster, imo. Drop a non wrestler fan in to watch Kenny omega and they couldn’t tell you his gimmick.

 

if Nak drops the title to Roman because they are on Fox now I will not be a happy camper

 

Thats why he fits perfectly in AEW and/or NJPW and would probably flop in WWE. If your product is actually about fighting, then gimmicks dont matter, fighting styles do (see: Nakamura, who has a unique fighting style, but whose gimmick has been dogshit since the moment his Sami match ended).

 

Get excited for that DQ ending followed by Roman spearing Sami!

what did they event tape for 205 Live? Like who's left...with Drew, Tozawa, Humberto and Drake gone? Looks like Neese, Gallagher, Kendricks, Daivari, and the Singhs are all that's left of people that havent asked for their releas.

 

First match was Gallagher vs Kendrick then Oney vs Nese vs Daivari but we left in the middle of that match
