Pretty much the only way they could pull off adding women and have it succeed. Though I agree they wont really merge the companies aside from some major shows. That said, a womens G1 would be awesome.

And for "future draft considerations" in a draft that has ended

 

They already do a women's g1. They do 5*. They also have a single elimination tournament. There really aren't many differences other than a draft where captains pick people for their factions.

Cool, I knew the pipeline of talent from Stardom was big, and Ive seen a few matches...but didnt really know what all they ran as a company. Seems easy enough for them to keep doing their thing and just be folded into the NJPW streaming package

 

The Stardom episode of The Wrestlers is really good

 

Did they tape the Janela/Kenny match after the show aired in Boston? I ask because there's a weird exchange during Kenny's entrance where JR mentions having Pac at the announce booth "last week" and Excalibur responds by saying Kenny took the chair to the head "an hour ago".

 

It was taped last week, so Excalibur probably just made a mistake. An odd mistake, but a mistake

 

It seemed like he was acknowledging that hey this is taped. If I recall correctly he basically said something like let’s be realistic this was just a few hours ago

 

Smackdown is gonna get killed by baseball this week

 

Jeeeesus Omega v Janela was fantastic.

 

Twice this week the guy sitting next to me on the train on the way home has been watching either AEW or NXT. Different dudes each time

 

Was just coming here to say the same. Didn’t even know Dark was on YouTube, so it was a pleasant surprise!

Drake is a great wrestler in his own right though to be fair.

 

Marko & Jungle Boy vs Lucha Bros sounds like a ton of fun though. I've got a feeling Lucha Bros were going over anyway, but this one might be Marko bumping like crazy.

 

So it’s now just Lucha Bros vs two children now, huh?

 

they should just do the match as if marko stunt was still the big man and have him only do big man spots the entire match
