I look forward to watching AEW from start to end but everything I saw was all over the place

 

swagger is so underwhelming, but the show was good. moxley is the best thing they have right now

I'm probably the only one who didn't hate swagger in the enforcer role. It's really fine.

 

AEW outshined Fakeover

 

The most Monday Night Wars nostalgia from tonight was Dynamite ending in absolute chaos like every Nitro did. Only needed Tony frantically trying to call the action but saying they had to go.

 

Swagger is a good wrestler that has had some bad fucking booking.

If LU is any indication, the answer is very much no. But they were also a mess by the time he came in, so, at least here he's got a chance for a fresh start.

Swagger is an average wrestler that has had some bad fucking booking. I don't think it's anything to worry about yet, but Cody's two friends that he's brought in being arguably the two worst in-ring guys in the company is not a great look.

 

The 15 minute period after the opening match was fucking messy and weird and all over the place, but the rest of the debut show was pretty good, especially for a debut episode.

I have a feeling that NXT's match quality tonight was likely stronger once I go back and actually watch it, especially Riddle vs Cole

 

skipped the first match for cole/riddle but it was a solid premiere. not everything worked for me but there's a lot to like and i'll tune in every week.
