awful. Man give me Sami vs Miz over Cedric vs Corbin every day of the week.

 

Cedric can still do good work

but like... those two could've put on a 15 minute thriller. Instead we essentially get Sami getting squashed by a cruiserweight. Doesn't help anyone.

 

i'm also just not a fan of Cedric, at least not with this current Cedric character (which isn't really anything).

 

I love how they followed up that win with randomly disbanding the KO+Sami pairing without any fanfare

WWE's treatment of Sami feels beyond the point of just their normal roster fuckups and almost as if they are actively punishing him

 

Holy shit, I think Vic Joseph is the perfect complement for the Renee/Cole announce team

It was so nice not having Corey on commentary tonight, and I was a big fan of Corey on commentary to begin. But, it was just sorta refreshing that the commentators were being nice to one another?

Caught about 80% of raw and really enjoyed it. Didn’t feel like a 3 hour show. Some thoughts:

Well another challenger and champion become tag champs angle. I guess it makes sense since they’re both faces for now and you know they’re gonna drop the belts but still...

It would be cool if Nattie/Sasha get a match before Sasha goes straight to Becky. Goes back to what I was saying when there used to be sub storylines within a storyline during the attitude era.

They actually let people wrestle tonight. Especially anybody that’s in KOTR. So clearly it’s gonna be Drew/Cedric in the semis for raw. Long term booking.

I think the magic killer looks dumb. Did they do that in New Japan? I think the best tandem finisher right now is the shatter machine.

I really like the revival with Randy. Guess they’re really pushing against the brand split by putting a cross brand faction together. Funny how even though most people are tired of Randy, putting him with revival instantly gives them credibility

Unless they dump those titles back tomorrow, Seth Rollins is gonna end up top 10 all-time in reign time as a RAW tag champ...on par in reigns as the Dudleys and Hardys overall.

And abundantly clear that we dont need a heel commentator when the heels already do all the talking as it is. You've got Renee and Cole to put over the heels as dangerous when needed.

 

also Zayn is just a glorified jobber - would love to see him return to NXT when it goes live

The indy show I went to last weekend that had a match with gangrel and glacier on it was more fun.
