I know I’m the only one and maybe it’s because I haven’t seen any of the segments but I’m actually mildly intrigued by Goldberg vs Ziggler.

 

I can’t imagine Ziggler/Goldberg lasting more than 15 seconds once the bell rings.

Maybe a minute or two of Ziggler running around outside the ring.

 

I’m gonna say 8-10 mins. Ziggler running out of the ring. Being a chicken shit. Miz and Michaels probably get a little spot. Spear. Jackhammer. Go home.

I still can't understand why someone as injury-prone and charisma-less as Alexa Bliss is pushed so hard. mind boggling

 

and she totally whiffed on that punch to Kairi tonight - Alexa Bliss is just a shorter version of Lacey Evans

 

also I guess it's easy to botch graphics when said tag team had only wrestled twice on TV in the last 2.5 months

 

also it's fucking hilarious that WWE built up a IICONICS and Kabuki Warriors feud only to have the teams never interact outside of a house show in Japan.

There's a lot of things you could say about Alexa Bliss, but I do't think charisma-less is one of them.

I will say Alexa is super overrated, but shes still better than Lacey Evans. Not like That's saying much though lol

 

Remember when most of the thread was hot on Alexa the first couple months on the main roster?

i also love the notion that Bliss is any worse than Billie or Peyton in the ring

 

In fairness, it was during a time where nxt was slowly coming up to the roster and she was a good manager who could give a believable promo at the time. No one knew exactly what her character on the main roster would be yet. She didn't wrestle a lot in nxt, so there was a limited amount of exposure to most mainstream fans for that part of her repertoire. Her first matches were encouraging because they were with other good wrestlers and she was an underdog who was narrowing pulling out wins at the end.

She's changed a lot since then because of how wwe has booked her. As far as giving her the tag titles, Nikki is going to have to carry all these matches and have Alexa pull out the victory in the end (to prevent her getting injured again). For whatever reason WWE constantly acts like they owe Alexa something, it's baffling. But, honestly if they think giving Alexa a title (which has slowly become irrelevant) will make people care more about the tag division then it actually makes some sense. That's assuming they care about it, and this is in good faith tho.

 

The iconics aren't bad wrestlers at all so I'm not sure why that's the comp. Maybe if you said Mandy and Sonya, they're actually bad.

 

If you compare Mandy/Sonya to Billie/Peyton, you better take a look at how long their in ring careers are. Mandy and Sonya don't look half bad considering how short a time they've been doing it.

Billie: 12 years
Peyton: 10 years

Mandy: 4 years
Sonya: 4 years
