Yeah, for sure. I guess my point is that his gimmick being flamboyant automatically puts him behind the 8 ball with the audience then having Vince giving final calls on his character and I’m just over here gritting my teeth at the thought of it.

 

I hope Shane goes away after SummerSlam. I know it won't be anytime before that sadly

 

If you had told me ten years ago that I'd be a big Sheamus fan, I'd have laughed at you. These videos are all kindsa great tho.

 

Every time I hear sheamus in interviews and stuff, he comes across super like-able.

Yeah, I guess that kind of is the dagger. My thinking was he has the pure charisma and mic skills to get over just about anything...much in the way Sami does...and on top of that he has a unique look. But god I cant imagine the RAW team writing for his character.

I think sheamus has been underrated for a while. I started enjoying him around his first whc run as a face vs Del rio. And then after that he kind made whatever they gave him work. You can take him seriously as a threat and his matches were always stiff and hard hitting. He was good in comedic roles. Made LoN work. I thought the Bar was great.

 

Dream is a million percent DoA as soon as he hits the main roster. And even if he wasn't I dont think I can put him over Cole, definitely not Gargano. He's still really good but that's an NXT gimmick all the way. He would need a character revamp. Agree with basically everything bigmike has said

 

it's funny his NXT feud is with Tyler Breeze because that's exactly how he'll be booked once he's on the main roster
