I feel like this year is the year for survivor series to not just be brand vs brand with all face champs on top

 

Just finished Mania. Man, that was a fucking marathon but I enjoyed it a lot.

 

I'll be shocked if we still have all face champs at the top.

Like, I can only see Seth and maybe Becky (w/ one belt) still having it.

Hahah the more I sit on it, a girl from my town main evented Wrestlemania and walked out a double champion. Wow.

 

Yep, just rewatched that bit, and shortly after tue nosering is out, when batista throws hhh on the announce table they say something like "fake? Could have been kayfabe" - or do they? I am not a native speaker and might be mishearing something

 

It’s pretty rad to think becky/Seth/Finn/kofi are all champions. No matter how flat the finish of the main event get because of the abrupt finish, the outcomes of mania were 100% all the right calls. I’m feeling stupidly optimistic about the product.

 

That’s def how I’m going to look at things too. In the moment, the ending was somewhat deflating because I didn’t know if there was going to be some swerve where they say that the ref got the call wrong and that they’d restart the match. But once it was clear it was all over, it was a great moment to celebrate her victory and look back at the entirety of the night and realize how well they booked the majority of the night.

I was honestly expecting KO to attack Kofi last night

 

KO not being on the show at all was so weird. I assume he was offered a spot in the battle royal but declined.

 

yeah i kept expecting KO to pop up somewhere and he never did. we went from him being rumored to be bryan's opponent at mania a few months ago to him not being on the show at all.

 

Maybe DBry goes to RAW to feud with seth and KO turns heel to feud with kofi?

My brother made a good observation. When Becky pins Ronda, Becky's knee is directly on one of Ronda's hands. Not sure if it's the broken one, but he wondered if Becky's weight on Ronda's hand is what made her squirm up like that during the pinfall.

 

I’m glad Kofi/Becky/Seth won but I honestly can’t see any of them really carrying championship storylines for an extended period of time. I think Becky has the best chance but she just went through Charlotte, who is probably sticking around in that scene a little longer. Then who do you have next? Who does the man rebel against when she’s on top?

Kofi, I don’t know. I don’t want to see Big E turn or anything but I think that makes the most sense.

Seth is kind of boring as a face and doesn’t really have legit heel challengers. Seth is better as a heel

 

The best way to keep a face champion interesting is by having them rebel against authority or have them look to market correct their own losses. I'm down for either with Becky: Have her feud against the McMahons going forward, or have her come out and challenge Asuka
