Yeah I take back my career threatening match angle idea. I never watched TNA so I don’t know how long Kurt has been like that but damn it’s crazy to see how much he actually cannot move. And his neck is the craziest looking thing I’ve ever seen. It’s like he has a neck brace on the inside of his skin

I saw him live in TNA back in 2012 and he looked shot then. Can't believe the guys knees haven't just given up yet.

 

he seemed to have some kind of resurgence with his TNA departure and the surrounding independent dates. he didn’t look amazing but he seemed sturdy and could go 10 minutes without looking like he needed to finish up or die by the end. in the 1-2 years since that stint and his WWE in-ring return, something caught up with him. the Kurt of 2015 would have been able to really deliver on this whole thing, but four years really fucking count when you’ve got that much mileage on you i guess

 

Kurt Angles best years in TNA were when he was 110% fueled on pain pills, you feel like fucking superman on those things. Once he got sober, which obviously is incredible, it had to of completely changed everything. He did a ton of damage on his years of pain pills but he was able to carry on because of them, it's no surprise he is in the condition he is in now.

 

this is all true but he had some totally serviceable sober years long after. not great, but better than right now by an order of magnitude

 

Thinking back to seeing that TNA show, I wish I was as into wrestling then as I am now. I pretty much only went cause my nephew wanted to go and it was a chance to see Jeff Hardy. But looking back I got to see AJ, Joe, and Sting, among other great wrestlers there and all I can remember are Kurt's bandy legs and Brooke Hogan falling off the stage while walking backwards.

 

Weird, I was thinking just this morning that she should do it.

 

Dean is apparently leaving the company after mania, why would WWE put him in a spot on the mania card and give him a payday if they don’t have to?

 

Dean will probably be at Mania so they can do the Shield pose one last time when Rollins wins

 

nothing says wrestlemania season like.... me not caring or watching raw or smackdown the past 2 weeks.
