Beat me in a no holds barred, three stages of hell, falls count anywhere, 24/7 pinfall, tornado, @Henry on a pole match and that can happen.

 

This is probably the best segment WWE's put together in a long-time. Really hoping they don't Bray this storyline and pick the completely wrong ending.

I was watching on Taima last night and the entire chat was just waiting for Vince to say something about him being black as the reason for him not being a top guy.

I feel like there is definitely something to that, but obviously he'd never say it.

 

I took Kofi saying "people like me" to mean that.

 

If Vince was racist though wouldn't he have had added like Orton to the title match instead of Ali?

 

Or, and hear me out on this because it's a good idea: No

 

The way I look at it is this, there has been ONE black WWE champion, and the guy could pass as not being black at all.

There was ONE black WHC.

 

Great show last night. Looking forward to the gauntlet match next week.

 

What if Kofi wins the gauntlet and then in two weeks Vince comes out and is like "Last week was Plan A. This week: Plan B. There's always a plan B"

 

Finally caught up from the entire weekend. A lot of ups and a lots of downs.

The biggest down is the womens triple threat angle.

It's happened. I've checked out of the Becky match. I guess I'm still looking forward to the match but yeah, I've given this whole thing so many chances to work itself out and now I dont even feel like it should main event. Well, maybe I won't go that far, but still, the hottest angle/act/match in the company has fallen apart. Once Rousey attacked Becky so she could be in the match....and be a heel...and becky is STILL ON A CRUTCH...ahhh.. this is so convoluted that you can tell the fans aren't sure what to do.

I even fast forward the becky Charlotte segment on smackdown.

What a shame

Only part that was mediocre was the Asuka match

 

Sami + Ali as an ultra babyface tag team that properly embraces muslim faith and helps show people that muslims aren't the bad guys and in fact are just like everyone else is probably something WWE doesn't have the desire or tact to properly pull off but it would be really fun to see.

Just watched the Kofi segment because I'm a cool wrestling fan who doesnt watch Smackdown Live uhhhh Live. Best babyface writing since Dbry obviously, I remember Kofi saying that him and the other New Day guys talk to/pitch to Vince on a weekly basis, it's finally paying off, there's no way I miss next week no matter who cool I am.



And i'm p cool.

 

I think a triple threat match is almost always a creative cop-out. And it's a shame here because the Womens division is really really lackluster singles-competition wise right now. But I hope the actual match is good. I just don't see the outcome making much sense for anyone but Becky.

 

They’ve soured me on being the main event also. If it was 1 on 1 with any combination of the 3, I’d be in. But this storyline has gotten tired and I’m ready for it to go away. Right now Kofi is the hottest thing going and I’d rather that be the main event
