This Raw crowd has me wondering how raucous the crowd actually was last night. I feel like in arenas that size, the crowd energy never fully translates to TV

 

This is apples to oranges, but if you really want to compare them, Giannis getting the Ronda treatment would have been him being a 35 minute starter from day 1 instead of easing him in. I don't think anyone was realistically expecting Ronda to go to the PC/NXT (even though she needed it), but she could have taken a longer path to the top on the main roster.

Can only speak for myself here, but I'm aware of this being the case and it's exactly the problem I have with the situation. If they want to bring in some non-wrestling person for "entertainment" reasons at a Mania, that's fine, I just don't enjoy watching that every week. And even that I could tolerate if she was at least good on the mic and could check the entertainment box from that side.

To be fair, almost every single one of those cases has been due to main roster booking decisions, not because they suddenly forgot how to wrestle/promo after learning it in NXT.

We're really setting the lowest possible bar for her if that's something we need to commend her for. Do we even have any proof that it's true? Her entire moveset is "I do judo and MMA" and she can't act her way out of a paper bag, so where is the evidence that she's trying to improve?

"Let them fight" chants. It's so easy to re-introduce intergender stuff to WWE, especially if the audience actually wants it. Just let a top woman and top man have an even, back and forth match on a big stage and the entire idea of them not being on the same level is done.

Hell, let Cedric and Candice do it. Have her get murdered by the lumbar check again but still kick out and get the comeback victory and people will go nuts.
