I feel like aside from the first few shitty ass minutes that’s the best we could have expected from Brock/Bryan.

Nah - all Brock lesner matches are ass

 

Brock sold the shit out a lot of that offense in the last half of the match. Anticlimatic finish after the comeback. Like @PeacefulOrca said, saves Bryan looking like an absolute chump, but the crowd still leaves with a sour taste in their mouths. But I didn't hate that match nearly as much as I did for the first half of it when it was just Brock ragdolling Bryan

 

War Games had awesome wrestling - this was just pointless convoluted bullshit

Fox must be pissed that they paid so much money for the show that can't even win a match. Thank god this is the only time all year the brands go head to head.

all in all definitely not the worst PPV of the year but still far from great.

 

Imagine dragons must make a lot of $ on lending their songs for this kind of stuff

zzzzzzzz of a ppv. talk about stretttching and killing time in this ppv, especially towards the end. I knew this ppv was going to be shit when i get to my friends house and Sasha's music hits. I ask "huh?" "Oh yeah sasha and bayley are replacing Ruby and Natalya". Lmao talk about making that shit the other week on raw look absolutely fucking useless.

Honestly didn't care for really anything on the ppv. Bryan/Lesnar was weird cause of the bryan heel turn? I didn't know how to feel or how they wanted us to feel. Uncomfortable? I guess that's a unqiue thing to shoot for.

Charlotte vs Rousey was really good, but man, the smark Becky fan in me is fearing the worst with the way they booked this. This smells rematch at wrestlemania....and them trying to recreate the Becky magic with Charlotte instead (making her this rutheless badass).

Men's SS... uhhhh, i guess they booked it as if it was a real fight? Those 3 huge dudes...yeah you see them...they totally won and dominated no problem. Oh? Boring and a waste of time. I've never seen smackdown look like such shit.

Women's SS... they're going for the Nia heat. I don't blame them. It's too hot to pass up.

Nak/Seth...it's a match.

AOP/Bar... why did vince let this happen.


I think i'd give this ppv a C. 5/10.

 

So is it safe to call Seth the MVP of the main roster for 2018?

Consistently puts on some of the best PPV matches. Would need to take the time to compile a list of the best main rosters matches this year but he's probably in half of them.

 

Answers probably yes, but, its more of a statement of how bad 2018 was overall. Because I honestly cant remember any of his feuds. I actually had to look up the Miz/Balor feud into WM...all I remember is this never-ending Dolph feud.

The WWE Chronicle had me thinking about Peak-Dean. Compare Seth's 2018 to Ambrose's 2016 (IC title with Owens, Last Man Standing. Mini feud with HHH. Lesnar build - even if the match sucked, MITB winner, cash-in, won SHIELD triple threat, mini-feud with Cena, long feud with AJ leading to TLC)...just feels like they wasted their best worker, Seth, on non-stories by comparison this year. Seth had great ring-work and solid mic work, but, far too often he'd end up back in the same match week to week.
