Nia has a history of injuring people (including Bayley). She's literally injured every one of the NXT horsewomen now.

Paige has done podcasts saying it wasnt sasha's fault, that it could have been just about any bump that did her in.

I actually thinking leaning into the heat is gonna Roman Nia...she's never gonna get cheered again no matter what story they run.

Yes, because a beloved babyface injuring someone is really comparable to someone who is already a heel on TV and who then doubles-down on what they did all over social media. It is totally because of Nia's waistline.

And to suggest that Sasha is the reason Paige's career ended is so fucking idiotic. If a basic kick in the ring was enough to end Paige's career, she should never have been cleared and put back in the ring in the first place.

Nia has been messing up quite a bit since she’s been on the main roster. So she’s got a bit of a track record and she just ruined the biggest thing going. But....

I’m not holding it against her. Most of these women have botched at some point or another. Sasha comes to mind but usually it’s herself that she’s almost killing. Asuka knocked out Emma that one time. Nia is one of the least experienced out there. And you can argue that she has no reason to be out there with her inexperience. But at the same time, if someone offered me a prominent role and the money that comes along with it I am not saying no. And on the bright side, Becky is going to be even bigger when she comes up. Unless wwe fucks it up, which would probably happen anyway

 

Yes, Nia was super over even after injuring several wrestlers. I think it's more systematic that wwe let's people who have multiple issues with insuring wrestlers like that come up as soon as they do because they don't see wrestlers as humans but as promotional pieces with dollar signs attached. I think the hate of her is a little overblown but I also think when you train a wrestler from the beginning it's also on you to make it work rather than looking the other way. Have some fans been waiting for this so they can have an excuse to boo her because of the way she looks? Sure but for a lot I think it goes deeper.

 

While that is certainly involved in it overall, a general lack of ring work, mic work, and character development havent helped her either. She was actually getting over in that WM build where they leaned into the Alexa fat shaming angle...then they turned her back heel for some reason. She needed more time in NXT.

Whats gonna be brutal for her is she doesnt have a SHIELD to turn to to lesson the heat.

 

you're acting like Nia acted maliciously...

shit happens in the wrestling ring. plenty of people have gotten concussed before. heat Nia got certainly wouldn't have been the same for pretty much anyone else people after just latching onto it as a "valid" reason to dislike her

 

And Nia's heat has just as much to do with how over Becky is right now than anything. Making those sort of claims are not only foolish and misguided, but they undermine the work Becky Lynch has been doing these past few months.

they'll actually let her be a heel though. and this is good for getting heat. the different standards she faces compared to the rest of the roster is just annoying to me
