still have the war games match but HOLY SHIT at gargano/black and ciampa/dream

 

and war games fucking ruled too. what a fantastic show and continues what is has been a real golden age for nxt.

 

Except we like Dean

 

Im sure the main roster talent could put on matches that good, they just so rarely have the story to make them matter.

AOP v The Bar, Brock v D-Bry, Rousey v Charlotte...all 3 could be solid matches, but they have exactly zero build and almost no purpose. Why do I care who wins those matches? Whereas in every single one of those NXT matches, Im invested from the start.

 

I think AJ interferes in the Brock match and it pisses him off to start a long term feud.

 

Would be a good set-up for both AJ/D-bry at TLC and maybe AJ/Brock at WM or sometime after

i realized that i never watched takeover from summerslam so i binged both of them this morning. That's a lot of impressive wrestling in one sitting haha.

No complaints. I like that they're doing only big matches....but as someone who's only a casual NxT viewer, I wouldn't mind seeing some showcases. I loved back in the day analyzing who i thought had potential or who i thought was a dope.

Well going on that... im super duper curious at how Ciampa and Gargano get called up. I fear the worst for Gargano on the main roster unfortunately. I think Riccochet, EC3, Adam Cole, and Velveteen have the most promise on the main roster.

Also, while I will boo her everytime, I think I'm a Shayna fan? She's the type of character the womens division needs and she plays it so so so well. Kairi is awesome too. Talk about the most likeable character/person! And she's not Bayley, so the expectations wont be as high.

 

I fucking love NXT so much.
