Just getting caught up on the semis of the Mae Young Classic, and holy hell, this Toni/Meiko match was fantastic. I don't think Meiko had a single bad match in this entire tournament

I’m actually kind of excited for tonight. Will I be let down? Probably. But for right now I’m looking forward to it.

 

At the show. This is the most amount of women I have ever seen at a wrestling show . Also it has a different set and it's rad

 

The buildup has been absolutely abysmal, but Becky/Charlotte should be fantastic. Hopefully they give it a ton of time. I think both the Mae Young final and NXT championship will deliver. Ronda/Nikki is what it is, but it's a real shame they booked the rest of the card the way that they did, because it really could have been something special. Asuka vs Ember, Sasha and Bayley vs the IIconics for the tag titles. Some sort of elimination match of Raw vs SmackDown where you have Nia, Natalya, and the Riott Squad vs Naomi, Carmella, Mandy, Sonya, and Lana. If you're going to bring Trish and Lita back, why not just give us a real throwback and do a triple threat with Mickie? And then throw some returning legends, more NXT/UK gals, and the rest of the main roster into a battle royal?

I don't know, maybe I'll be happier with a shorter match card, a la TakeOvers, but even if you're not really going to give us true storylines leading into the PPV aside from one or two matches, then at least give us some interesting matchups you're not going to see on TV or at any other PPV.

I'd set the over/under at 8

 

If that match doesnt go like 20 minutes at least, I'll be stunned. There just isnt enough on the card otherwise to fill 3 hours. Battle Royal and Trish/Lita cant go more than about 10. Even if every other match went 15, there'd still be a good chunk to fill.
