With 9/19 celebrity relationships, this is how I feel. But in this case, I do totally understand why wrestling fans are so intrigued by it. They've played up the relationship on three different television shows and their engagement occurred in the middle of the ring at WrestleMania. It's the wrestling business on top of the reality TV business and we've been told repeatedly that we should care about this relationship. There was always the level of intrigue to how real their relationship was in the first place, and now there's this added level of intrigue to how real the breakup is. I do think it's a bit silly to be so invested in their relationship (I'm talking about these Twitter and Instagram comments from people saying how devastated they are at the news and how they cried over it... Seriously, people?), but I totally get why people (aka wrestling fans on the internet) are fascinated by the whole ordeal.

The most shocking part of this whole thing: WWE.com hasn't posted anything about it (that I've seen, at least)

I blame the WWE more than Cena. They clearly pushed him into the engagement line. Sure, Cena could've stood up then and been like "no sorry i don't want this" but they shouldn't have pressured him into doing it.

yeah, it’s the whole “how real is it” that made me not care i guess, a reality tv show i don’t watch and an engagement so forced that dirtsheets reported it months in advance makes me disengage if anything, just part of the show and no indication of how their lives actually are. i get being interested, but discussing it? what’s there to discuss? we know nothing about them, ya know? you walk five feet in that convo and you’re stepping over the line into conjecture. idk i get it and i don’t.
