Hmmmm apparently starting May 6th (backlash) there will be no more single branded shows. All ppvs will be dual branded

 

I feel like a lot of midcard/lowercard talent will never be on a ppv again if true

I was being hopefully that it wasn't so obvious. That show is already sold out, so announcing them on it doesn't need to be much of a spectacle.

 

It’s so sad that we are wired to this type of thinking (I include myself)

 

Just contending all the belts in one PPV is nine matches, which fills up a PPV and then some.

Granted, not all belts have to be contested every PPV, but definitely seems crowded. Leaves little room for stuff outside of the belts.

Gonna be a clusterfuck til they figure it all out, but, there's actually decent logic to it. Keep the shows seperate, but allows them to book shorter (4 week) feuds while also doing longer (2-3 month) stories.

Biggest problem pre-brand split was that they wanted the main title story on every show and it killed their midcard. Now the brand split is overexposing the midcard with no breaks

 

Nothing will make sense till Vince fully leaves

 

Should we assume everything else will be run as great as NXT is now with Triple H in full control? It seems like a lot of work, I'm sure Steph and Shane will have a big part of it too.

 

Nah but it's a fact that Vince is quite shit so it couldn't get worse

 

Yeah they are going to have to really strategically book (ugh) to make sure there is balance on the PPV's. I hope they don't think every title needs to be defended ever PPV. Even the main titles shouldn't be. Rotate them. If every ppv turns into a 4 hour show it is going to be awful.

 

Would have been the perfect thing to do during Brock/Jinders reign too.

That said, I wouldnt be surprised if Backlash is co-branded because they have to finish feuds during the shakeup. Like last year Jeri-KO and House of Horrors were those matches.

 

Wonder if one day WWE will ever go back to the 4/4/4 approach. Probably not for a looooong time yet since that's how they're milking the shit out of the of the network

 

Need more 6 way hell in a cell matches

 

What a mess WWE is. So many people that they can’t figure out what to do with. If only they’d you know, use the other titles instead of jamming everyone together. Stupid.
