It's tough because his in ring work would seemingly get limited in WWE and it's always a gamble on how new guys are handled in the company. But, it would be nice to have him on TV on a weekly basis and seeing him at a live show becomes much more accessible.

 

They should've just been packaged as the Bash Brothers, the grown up characters of Fulton Reed and Dean Portman from D2.

 

yes. I think an easy assumption is that they only made one set of ring gear for them (or they only took one set of ring gear overseas) and either it got ripped or needs major adjustments and WWE probably only has their seamstresses and whatnot there for the RAW and Smackdown tapings. Harper needs to get those black jeans worn-in.


Or, they didn't get a good crowd reaction because a decent amount of the crowd probably has no idea who the Bludgeon Brothers are but know Luke Harper/Erick Rowan

Is it though? Guy is probably living the dream and probably doesn't have much bad to say about WWE. He seems like a guy who realizes he may have outstayed his welcome and is grateful to be around.

 

oddly enough, watching him eat all those moves...makes me think he's staying around longer. Technically his contract should be up, if it was 1 year, since this is about the time he was battling AJ, etc. But he's been relevant enough I feel like he's gonna be here through WM

 

They're gonna have a ladder match with Ellsworth hanging above the ring at WM

 

more so for the stories. it can be a positive shoot interview.

Good point. I just lump "must watch shoot" in with shitting all over guys in the locker room. They've talked about the Simon Gotch shoot on the WWW podcast on back to back weeks so its just what I jumped to.

 

Nah you're right though about him probably loving this stuff. I know the WWE locker room is different than it was a decade ago, but i wonder how he's received backstage from talent, and whether he's embarassed by this stuff at all or if he gets ribbed or anything like that.
